What age would be appropriate for a child to enter beauty pageants?
The purpose of this blog is to get opinions on how others view child beauty pageants. If you had a child under the age of 5 would you put him or her in a beauty pageant? If so, why? If not, why? This is for a research paper and I would appreciate the input to these questions.

No, I would not put a five year old in a beauty pageant. Pageants make the child focus on outward appearance and creates stress on them to look perfect to the world. Later in life this can cause serious health and mental issue in an attempt to mold to the perfect ideal. There is no age that is appropriate for pageants unless you want to ruin your child.
